Where do we kayak or canoe?
The North Platte River offers a scenic trip filled with wildlife.
How long do we tank for?
River trips are dependent upon the water level. If the water level is good, The North Platte trip is about 2 miles and begins at the campground at Buffalo Bill's Scouts Rest Ranch and ends at Cody Park. This trip takes anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours. These trips are offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 9am, Noon, and 4pm. Times are when we will pick you up at Cody Park.
If the water level in North Platte is low, we offer a 10am trip floating the North Platte River from Paxton. This trip is about a 4 hour float. This trip is offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10am. Meet us at our Dusty Trails location to begin your river adventure.
Appointments can be made for any day during the week with a minimum of 24 hours notice.
Will you have a shuttle for drop off and pick up?
Yes, we will pick you up at stopping point for the float and bring you to Dusty Trails. We will take you to the river and make sure you get in the kayak or canoe and on your way safely. When you finish your trip, just pull the kayak or canoe up onto land, get in your vehicle, and go. We will handle the rest.
The North Platte trip is $25 for ages 16 and older, $15 for ages 15 and under.
The Paxton trip is $35 for ages 16 and older, $25 for ages 15 and under.
